After visiting the traditional market Lendang Bajur in north Lombok you drive to Bayan to the possibly oldest and most important mosque in Lombok. The mosque was built in the 16th century. The beautiful thing is the short visit to the traditional village of Senaru on the slope of mount Rinjani, that situated about 800 meters above sea level. There will be also a nice walk through the rain forest to visit the popular water fall in Lombok island, Sendang Gila water fall. From Senaru people usually start doing their 3 days Rinjani Trekking to the active volcano. After the visit you will drive back westwards along the coast to reach your hotel in the late afternoon.
